Impostor puts you in the role of a hidden threat aboard a spaceship. Your goal is to eliminate crewmates without exposing your identity while the remaining crew searches for suspicious behavior and tries to remove the impostor.

The game mixes stealth, survival, and multiplayer deception. Move between rooms, watch for a crewmate who has separated from the group, and wait for a safe opening. Attacking in front of witnesses can quickly turn the crew against you.

How to Play Impostor

Explore the ship and look for an isolated target. When no one else is nearby, eliminate the crewmate and leave the area quickly. Bodies can trigger meetings and suspicion, so staying near an elimination makes discovery more likely.

Sabotage ship systems such as the lights, oxygen, or reactor to distract the crew and split the group. After an attack, use the vent system or escape hatch to change position and get away from danger. Vents are useful for an escape, but enter them only when the surrounding area is clear.

A successful round depends on timing rather than attacking the first crewmate you see. Blend in with the crew, watch for moments when a target is alone, and avoid behavior that makes you stand out. If the crew identifies and eliminates the impostor, the threat is stopped; if you remain hidden while removing the crew, you complete your mission.
