That’s Not My Neighbor is a horror puzzle game set in a 1955 apartment complex. You work as a doorman for the Doppelganger Detection Department, checking each visitor before deciding whether a resident or a supernatural impostor is standing at the window.

How to Play That’s Not My Neighbor

Start with the visitor’s ID and entry permit. Compare the photo, name, and expiration date, then check the residents list to confirm that the person is expected at the building. Small physical details can expose a doppelgänger: watch for unusual eyes, extra fingers, a missing feature, or skin that looks unnatural.

When the paperwork or appearance does not add up, use the phone to call the apartment and check whether the real resident is already home. A missing entry request is also a reason to treat the visitor as suspicious. You must choose whether to allow entry, deny access, or report a monster to the D.D.D. Make the wrong call and the game can end for you and the neighbors.

Tips for That’s Not My Neighbor

Take your time with every document and face. Doppelgängers depend on careless checks, so compare details twice when something feels wrong. If you identify a monster, use the security procedure and contact the D.D.D. instead of letting it through.
