Temple Run 2 turns a fast escape through ancient ruins into a series of quick movement decisions. Grab the golden idol, avoid the pursuing monster, and keep reacting as the route speeds up and the hazards arrive closer together.

About Temple Run 2

Temple Run 2 is an endless adventure runner from Imangi Studios. Your character runs automatically through ruins, cliffs, forests, and mines while you jump gaps, slide under low obstacles, turn at sharp corners, and change lanes to avoid danger or reach coins. Fire pits, fallen trees, rotating spikes, broken paths, mine carts, and zip-lines keep changing the timing.

There is no finish line. The run ends when you crash, fall, or miss a turn, and coins collected along the way can improve abilities that help future runs last longer. The longer you survive, the faster the game becomes.

How to Play Temple Run 2

Read the path before the obstacle reaches you. Jump over gaps and raised hazards, slide under low gates and fallen trees, turn when the route bends, and shift lanes when the current line is blocked. The best route is not always the one with the most coins; it is the one that leaves enough room for the next input.

Special sections change the normal rhythm. Mine carts, zip-lines, and rivers require you to steer through a different kind of path, so stop treating the run as a straight lane pattern when one of these sections appears. Coins support ability upgrades, but they are never worth a late swerve into a trap.

Tips for Temple Run 2

  • Prepare the next move early - A jump can lead directly into a turn or slide, so read beyond the obstacle you are clearing.
  • Respect the speed increase - Faster sections shorten the correction window; commit before the hazard is close.
  • Pick the safer coin line - A clear landing and a clean turn are worth more than a risky handful of coins.
  • Treat special sections as new controls - Mine carts, zip-lines, and rivers change how you steer through the route.
  • Upgrade the problem you actually have - Use coins to support the ability that helps where your runs most often break down.

Game Controls

  • A / D or Left / Right Arrow - Move, turn, or change lanes
  • W or Up Arrow - Jump
  • S or Down Arrow - Slide

No. Temple Run 2 is an endless runner. Each attempt ends with a crash, fall, or missed turn, and the next goal is a higher score or longer distance.

How do you get coins in Temple Run 2?

Coins appear along the route, and supported challenges can provide additional rewards. Collect them when the path remains safe.

What should you do when Temple Run 2 gets faster?

Look farther ahead, make earlier inputs, and stop changing lanes without a reason. Faster movement leaves less time to correct a late decision.

Temple Run 2 rewards anticipation. Choose the safe line, clear each hazard deliberately, and keep your attention on what comes after the current obstacle.
