Pokedle is a daily Pokémon guessing game where you narrow down one mystery Pokémon from structured clues. Each valid guess reveals information such as its type, generation, height, and weight, while four modes offer different ways to approach the same day’s answer.

About Pokedle

Classic gives you clues on every try. Card blurs the Pokémon’s artwork, Description provides a Pokédex sentence, and Silhouette shows only the Pokémon’s shadow. The mode changes the clue you start with, but the goal stays the same: identify the hidden Pokémon.

Every guess must be a valid Pokémon, and the number of guesses is limited by mode. In Classic, feedback marks exact matches in green, close attributes in yellow, and mismatches in gray. A nearby generation or similar stat range can point toward the answer without identifying it immediately.

How to Play Pokedle

Begin with a Pokémon that gives you useful information across different types or generations. Read each result as a filter: a matching type keeps that group in play, a close generation narrows the time period, and height or weight clues can remove Pokémon with similar-looking traits but different stat ranges.

Compare later guesses with the clues you already have instead of choosing randomly. Evolution lines can lead you toward a convincing but incorrect answer, and overlapping stats can make similar Pokémon harder to separate. Use each attempt to reduce the remaining possibilities before locking in your final guess.

Tips for Pokedle

  • Start with a Pokémon from a different type than your previous guess to gather broader information.
  • Track generation feedback to reduce the number of possible Pokémon quickly.
  • Compare height and weight ranges when several Pokémon share the same type or era.
  • Check evolution similarities before treating a close match as the answer.
