How to Play Word Blast

Word Blast uses a 5×5 grid where you place shapes made of letter blocks. Your objective is simple: fill the board in a way that forms real words. As soon as a valid word appears—whether in a line or a curved connected path—it clears automatically and rewards you with points.

You control everything with your mouse. Drag and drop shapes from the bottom of the screen into empty grid spaces, or click the rotate button to adjust a shape before placing it. Every decision matters: once a piece is placed, the board changes, and your future possibilities shift. You’ll score for every letter placed, every word formed, and every combo created when multiple words appear at once.

Longer words give higher scores, and in Classic Mode, bomb blocks can shake up your strategy by clearing letters for bonus points when dropped.
