About Blackjack

Blackjack is a classic card game where you try to finish closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Each round starts with a virtual bet and two cards for you and the dealer, with one dealer card hidden until your turn ends.

Numbered cards count at face value, face cards are worth 10, and an Ace counts as 1 or 11 depending on which value helps your hand. Your balance changes after each round, so the size of each bet matters as much as the cards you receive.

How to Play Blackjack

Place chips from your balance on the table, then select Deal. After looking at your hand and the dealer’s visible card, choose your next action:

  • Hit to draw another card and increase your total.
  • Stand to keep your current hand and end your turn.
  • Double to double your bet and receive one final card.
  • Split to divide two cards of equal value into separate hands.

A hand over 21 busts and loses. You win with a higher valid total than the dealer or when the dealer busts. If both hands have the same value, the round is a push and your original bet is returned. A first hand made from an Ace and a 10-value card is a blackjack.

The dealer draws on 16 or lower and stands on 17 or higher. Watch the face-up card before choosing whether to take another card or keep your total. Low hands may need a hit, while doubling and splitting can increase the amount at risk. Pairs of 5s and 10s are generally safer kept together, and insurance bets generally favor the house.
