Shape Rush sends a geometric icon through six rhythm-driven stages. The shape moves forward without stopping, and one collision with a spike, wall, ceiling, or other trap ends the attempt immediately. Your job is to read the next obstacle and time each input to keep the run alive.

About Shape Rush

Shape Rush is a one-button arcade platformer with a normal single-player campaign. It has no checkpoints, practice mode, or second chance after a crash, so every successful run depends on consistent timing from the start of the level to the finish zone.

The six stages are Dream Dash, Back On Track 2.0, Dry Out 2.0, Base After Base 2.0, Reapers, and Club Madness. The early levels introduce the rhythm and obstacle patterns, while the later Hard and Harder stages move faster and leave less room for a late reaction.

Portals change the icon and its movement rules. Cube sections use precise jumps, Ship sections require controlled flight, and Ball sections flip gravity with each click. Safe finishes can award stars, while diamonds and coins unlock skins, colors, daily rewards, and achievements.

How to Play Shape Rush

Use the Left Mouse Click, Spacebar, or Up Arrow to make the shape jump, fly, or flip. The track and electronic soundtrack follow a rhythm, so the beat can help you anticipate a sequence, but keep your eyes on the hazards ahead. The shape never stops to give you extra time.

Prepare for a portal before entering it. A jump that works in Cube form may not work after the icon changes to Ship or Ball. Learn where the movement changes occur, then adjust your timing as soon as the new physics take over.

Completing a level at 100% is the main campaign goal. Instant respawns make retries quick, so use each failed attempt to remember one troublesome jump, portal, or shifting section instead of trying to memorize the entire stage at once.

Tips for Shape Rush

  • Watch one obstacle ahead
Look beyond the hazard directly under the icon so the next input is ready before the track demands it.

  • Keep your rhythm steady
Press with purpose during dense patterns instead of tapping repeatedly and losing the stage’s timing.

  • Expect portal changes
Approach every transformation gate ready to replace the previous form’s timing with a new movement rule.

  • Use restarts as practice
Identify the exact point of failure, then focus on reaching that point cleanly on the next attempt.

  • Save focus for Reapers and Club Madness
The later Harder stages combine faster movement with more demanding obstacle patterns.

Game Controls

  • Left Mouse Click, Spacebar, or Up Arrow - Jump, fly, or flip.
