Tetris
Arrange falling Tetriminos to clear lines in the classic puzzle game Tetris. Match shapes, rotate pieces, and aim for high scores.
Seven block shapes fall from the top of the screen. Your job: rotate and slide them into place to build complete horizontal lines.
About Tetris
Tetrisis the classic puzzle game created by Alexey Pajitnov in 1984. Pieces called Tetriminos-each made of four connected squares-fall one at a time. The goal is to arrange them into solid rows. Every full line disappears, making room for more blocks. The pace increases as you clear more lines.
What makes Tetris enduring is its simplicity. There are no power-ups, no story, no characters. It’s just you, the falling blocks, and the pressure of a rising stack. Perfect for a short session or a long grind.
How to Play Tetris
Each Tetrimino falls from the top of the playfield. Use left and right to position it, up to rotate it clockwise, and down to drop it faster. When a row is completely filled, it disappears and you earn points. The game ends when blocks stack to the top.
Lines cleared in multiples (2, 3, or 4 at once) score more. The “Tetris” itself-clearing four lines with a single piece-is the maximum and most satisfying.
Levels increase the falling speed. Early levels give you time to think. Later ones test your reflexes and planning.
Tips for Tetris
Build flat Keep your stack as even as possible. Gaps are harder to fill later.
Save the I-piece for a Tetris The long straight piece is the only one that clears four lines at once. Don’t burn it on a single row.
