Penalty Shooters turns soccer into a series of decisive spot kicks. You alternate between shooting and goalkeeping, then try to survive a knockout tournament with one of 32 real football clubs.

About Penalty Shooters

There are no full matches to manage. Each round focuses on the penalty shootout, so success depends on where you aim, when you release, and how well you read the opposing shooter. Choose a club and work through knockout matches toward the final.

Every match asks you to handle both sides of the contest. A missed penalty can end your tournament, while a well-timed save can keep your team moving forward. Matches become harder as you advance.

How to Play Penalty Shooters

When you take a penalty, hold the left mouse button to prepare the shot. Move the cursor to choose the direction, then release at the right moment. Release too early or too late and the ball may go straight to the goalkeeper or miss the post.

After the shot, you become the goalkeeper. Hold the mouse button, move toward the side of the incoming ball, and release to dive. React too early and the shooter can send the ball elsewhere; wait too long and the shot may reach the net. Watch the shooter’s movement and try to anticipate the direction instead of relying only on a last-second reaction.

Tips for Penalty Shooters

  • Wait for the goalkeeper to move: Holding your shot until the keeper commits can open a better angle.
  • Vary your shot direction: Mixing up your targets makes your kicks harder to predict.
  • Read the shooter before diving: Look for movement that suggests where the ball is headed.
  • Practice both roles: You must score and defend to progress through the tournament.
  • Stay patient in later rounds: The pressure rises as you move closer to the final.
