How to Play Hexbound

Enemies grow tougher as you advance, so keep moving instead of letting them surround you. Strafe to avoid bullets, projectiles, and close attacks, but do not rush blindly into unexplored ground where enemies may appear suddenly.

Search maze-like areas for colored keys, puzzles, hidden passages, and secret rooms. These discoveries can reveal gear, valuables, and routes deeper into the level. Switch weapons to suit the enemy rather than relying on one gun, and use magic carefully when a fight becomes harder.

Upgrade points, gold, and other resources can strengthen your health, mana, strength, ammunition, and combat options. Manage your health and supplies while you explore; running out before reaching the exit ends the push through the level.

Tips for Hexbound

• Keep an escape route in view. Move side to side and watch your surroundings so enemies cannot box you in.
• Look beyond the obvious path. Hidden rooms, switches, keys, and passages may lead to useful rewards or the next area.
• Match your equipment to the fight. Change weapons and spend upgrades on options that fit the way you approach combat.
